Coatings by Sandberg (CBS)

CBS Dichroic is a multi layer coating placed on glass using a process known as thin film coating. Originally created for the Aerospace industry, it is now being made available to artists in the UK by us in association with the world renowned manufacturer "Coatings by Sandberg" (CBS). CBS have been manufacturing this product longer than anyone in the business.

Different Co-efficient of Expansion

Much of our sheet materials are CoE 90, but some products are also available in different co-efficient of expansion.

• Float Dichroic - highly effectively in art installations and sculpture; clear base
• Spectrum Dic CoE 96 - successful in glass blowing applications
• Moretti Dichroic CoE 104 - used in flame-work, bead-making and torch worked pieces
