Dichroic Glass

Dichroic is a multi layer coating placed on glass using a process known as thin film coating. Originally created for the Aerospace industry, dichroic glass is now being made available to glass artists in the UK by Warm Glass UK in association with the world renowned dichroic manufacturer "Coatings by Sandberg" (CBS). CBS have been manufacturing dichroic glass longer than anyone in the art glass business.

Much of our sheet dichroic glass is CoE 90, but some dichroic products are also available in different co-efficient of expansion.
