The Warm Glass Prize - Warm Glass UK
The first Warm Glass Prize was launched in 2005 at the Contemporary Glass Society AGM in London and Warm Glass UK is committed to encouraging excellence in all aspects of warm glass work by making this an annual event.
As the first Warm Glass Prize last year, the brief was to design and make a piece of contemporary warm glass with the title "Beginnings"; each year, a new theme will be given to inspire creativity amongst the glass community. It is very much intended that the Warm Glass Prize is open to all and we therefore hope that new artists will be encouraged to enter a piece even if they are new to warm glass work.
